nothing amazing, but enjoyable. the vocals need a little work on the higher notes. there are some very missed falsettos and higher notes etc.

I agree, you should stick with the notes within your range. It's good to practice stretching beyond it, but when writing music and performing/recording, it seems like you have enough range to make it interesting without leaving your range.

Other that that, though, the instrumentation is solid and the melody moves pretty well.

Pretty solid, I liked it. I liked the description about not having enough dough for the cowbell, kinda funny.

Might want to consider a guitar that wasn't found in the garbage, makes for a good story, but a less than stellar tone.
