Not to be rude.....but i cannot understand what you are singing. The words are muffled and I even think you are sometimes not singing the correct words.

Anyway...it seems like you are enjoying yourself and that's what is important :)

the horrible recording quality is probably part of the reason you can't hear what he's saying...

its just frustrating that its so muffled - you can't hear any of the details. the strumming seems right on, but i can't even tell you what kind of chord voicings are going on. the vocals are, for the most part, sung with good intonation and pitch - but you can't tell the strength of them because of the quality.

suggestion: spend like $100 on a condenser mic

Firstly, never apologize before a performance.

Secondly, I would've killed to have gone to a good boarding school.

Thirdly, it sounded really good. Nice performance.

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": As long as there's, you know, sex and drugs, I can do without the rock and roll.

I heard a good quote the other day from kim gordon of sonic youth that "people pay to see someone who believes in themself"

It really is true that if you just are confident in yourself it really shows in your performance. You have the talent, maybe you just need a little ego boost.

funny but the same thing works for getting dates...anyways..

I'm listening to the Mraz song now and I like it. The recording quality is bad and that really takes away from what sounds like a good performance.

What are you using to record?

You have a good voice, keep up the good work and if you have any questions about improving your recording quality, ask, there are lots of knowledgable people here.

The other day in my Voice & Speech class, my instructor told us (and yes, I generally do write these bits of knowledge down when I hear them), "There's a bit of narcissism in all performing artists, especially actors. You have to believe that you're worth watching, worth the whole world standing about to watch, and you have to believe you're so worth watching, people should be paying 12 bucks for a movie or 120 for a broadway show, just to watch you."

indeed..

agreed.. Don't ever ever apologize before performing.. It prepares us for the worst and you expect it, even if it's not that bad... I have a habbit apologizing after one ;)

Don't worry about it.. confidence takes time..

I don't have much to critique as the quality was so bad I couldn't really make most of it out.. A little pitchy at times, but your voice has a lot of potential, your guiitar didn't sound bad on #41.. You're young, keep at it..
