I thought it was great. Very easy to listen to, very relaxing. Definitely keeping it around to listen to in the future.
However, I do think you play some notes that might not be in the key of your rhythm. Some of them just seem out of place. Furthermore, a lot of your notes are dulled. Examples: :24-26, :40, :49, 1:30.
My favorite part of the song is the intro, beautifully done. The lead comes in at the perfect time. Excellent work overall, just work on your lead a little bit.
I'd love to hear more from you.

hey there,
my critique is as follows:
the first five seconds (until guitar 2 comes in) it sounds like the beginning of a very old Jason Mraz song. Which is neat and nicely done (but it's only the first 5 seconds).
The song is full of guitar 2 errors, slip-ups, frett buzz, off key hits, and it seems like the entire song's solo happens in the 12+ fret range. this is a combination for a rather dull, annoying solo.
The guitar 1 riff is rather nice i thikn i would like that on its own outside of the guitar 2 stuff but it desperately needs variation.
the song as it stands now is extremely shakey and weak IMHO. it honestly sounds like you hooked up a DL4 pedal to the guitar one and let it run for 2 minutes while trying to figure out what key you were in so that you could have a second guitar part for it.
keep workin at it.
regards,
xoosh

Hey, thanks for the reviews guys...I agree there are flaws and im working on them...I'm still very raw with the guitar, only playing for a little over a year now....On the second guitar, I didnt use any scale known to man, or atleast that i know of, lol..I just threw some stuff together that sounded like it fit right.....But once again, thanks for the reviews, its a gigantic plus to hear that people, who know the guitar farely well, liked it...

Oh I agree, this is something i fooled around with..and xoosh, your almost right...the first guitar was looped, but i used acid pro instead
..... i just wanted something to work as a foundation so i could put a solo of some sort on top...I have been working on a song just using the first guitar as well...

well jack, it's the best way to learn to solo, that's what i did =) just loop some chords over and over again and figure out what works with it...
if you ever want some loops to work from let me know, i have a few that are progressively more difficult to work from but helped me.

i might just take you up on that sometime xoosh, thanks for the offer...I'm still in the works of learning most of the scales and being able to use them anywhere on the guitar.....The only instructor I ever had (and that was only for a few weeks b/c he was ripping me off big time) taught my a few scales inbetween 4 frets and 4 frets only..he wouldnt go any further b/c "it will confuse you too much" so he says..ha
