1st ever song posting - bowa

Unread post by bigseal » Wed Oct 25, 2006 9:22 pm

this is the first time i've posted a song online... in fact, besides my family and a few select friends, you'll be the only people who have ever heard my singing voice. yes, you should feel special

it's bowa... recording was done in one take with a cheap mic from radio shack into audacity... it starts off pretty decent, but gets a little sloppy

let me know what you think... thanks

I thought that the guitar work was pretty solid. I have always thought that this is a really hard song to play and sing along with...and I think you do an admirable job. The singing could definitely use some work though, mainly with the timing, but like I said, that is a tough task, one that I constantly struggle with. I did like your "Hey lah" part at the end, though. I think there is a good voice in there...don't be afraid to let it out. Nice job, man! Keep posting!

sing louder, slow down tempo.

This is a good job, this song is hard to sing and play like cap'burrito said. I enjoyed it, thanks for posting.
