Early Shotgun Cover

Unread post by whirl_it_up » Tue Oct 03, 2006 5:04 pm

ah well, saw Nitros tab for Shotgun in Standard Tuning (capo 10th fret) and i fecking love Shotgun..crazzzy bout the song.

so been clarting with this riff the past hour as i neeeeded to learn it, anyways thought i'd up what i got so far, as i was proud of myself for what i got in the hour (hurting my lil' dodabs all the way up on those high frets)

not saying its good, as its certainly not, but least you can tell its Shotgun :P

i liked it, the odd bit here and there to be perfected but its damn hard playing that far up the neck,
was that a nylon string guitar?

out of interest where you from in the UK clare?

thanks! i know some parts are off but yeh.

and no didn't use nylon strings. to be honest it's not that hard for me playing that far up the neck as my hands are small, main problem is the strings are held down so tight from the capo being that far up

and i'm from Newcastle - there are a few Geordies on this board I believe :)

Not bad, sloppy in some spots, but your going to have that with the capo on the 10th fret. Its hard to play it like that.
