i am damn glad i stayed up... i get first dibs! *listening now*
edit: damn guys this is sick. It has a really great chill like Death Cab, Iron and Wine vibe. The cello adds so much depth and kickassness to it.
Pat, these are some of the best vocals I've heard from you.
The lyrics are pretty sweet too and im loving the piano in the middle.
I dont know what to say other than i would like the 2 of you to put out a CD. I would buy 2 of them.
You are my inspiration guys, its shit like this that makes me want to keep playing and keep writing.

That was a very nice review, and much appreciated. The song is actually a Sufjan Stevens cover, but as you may find out, it's drastically different from the original.
Great cover though man.

Love it guys, the instrumentation is fantastic. I want to second what has already been said about your voice pat, its really improved. The cello is gorgeous ben, you really make that thing sing.
My only critique would be add some vocals an octave lower. I just woke up and listened to this and started singing along in a frog voice and it actually sounded good.
Other than that, great work guys.

Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

haha. thanks for the critique. i've only recently been adding harmonies to stuff, and it's turning out pretty well. i did do octave for the last phrase, you should be able to hear it.RunsWithBuffalo wrote:Love it guys, the instrumentation is fantastic.
