Pretty good Ranting. I kinda like the double time feel a little better, (it seemed like you werent strumming as much as Dave) but thats just me. I dont know why, but I personally find this really hard to sing. You did a good job.

Nice job. The real reason I wanted someone to do a cover so a friend and I could reslove a little strumming issue. He claims mine is completely wrong... but i do not really care.

Here is mine... I did it with windows sounds recorder and a a cell phone headset microphone.. I hear they have some kinda background noise reduction. (I could not find my mic in all reality)

My friend should be signing to the boards soon.

fuinny thought... that my first recording ever posted by me.. as shitty as it is.. and yes i know i messed up on the playing i missed a part or two here or there... not much thought went into it.
Yes, I am Indian and I play the guitar. Believe It.

Well, if youre trying to play it like dave, you have the chorus down pat. That's the correct strum pattern. But your verse is off a little. On the first slide, you need to hold on the first note for a single strum. Then keep the same strum pattern. You kinda go into the chorus strum pattern after the slide in your verse, when you should just maintain the double time strumming. If that made sense. I can post a clip if you like.

And if you dont care about sounding just like dave, sorry for getting picky :) . I actually like it when people are a little different (as per Ranting's cover...it gives it a twist of different flavor.) But I try to help if you're trying to play it like the man.

Sure It'd be cool to here a clip. Yeah I am not trying to sound like dave. I do not have that much time to perfect my playing. I learned that song a long time ago, and just had remembered it was a fun song to play. I guess I shuld have looked at the tabs before. oh well.. cool beans.. MORE ORAGNIC CHEM!!!... yay for me... :( :o

Recording quality is only so-so (I dont have a pickup) but you should be able to get the rythm from it.
