Closing Time

Unread post by EnFuego » Mon Oct 20, 2003 7:38 pm

I recorded this prety quickly, but I am trying out this whole Angelfire posting mp3 thing. Tell me what you think about the song. I am pretty new to trying to sing while playing and just want to be able to sing on key. If anybody has any keys on how to sing on key that would be great. Thanks

playing was really good. actually sounded a lot like the real thing, great quality too.

you do have a problem w/ the vocals though. you were constantly searching for what key to sing in which makes me think that you can sing in key fine, but you have a problem finding where to sing. my advice is to start w/ easy songs to play and sing and work from there. you can alrady play, ill bet you can sing while not playing, you just gotta piece the two together. good luck man. good job on the guitar.

Yeah good job man! Solid on the guitar! Like App said with the vocals just need to work on that, but you are well on your way.

Hey by the way what tab did you use for that? I have one for Closing Time but it doesn't sound like that. I like yours better.

Hmm yeah I had G, D, Am, C I guess I just use a bit of a different rhythm to the song. I will have to give that Barre Chords a try on the Chorus. I never knew that one.

Yeah I used G, D, Am, C...G, D, Am, Am for the verse, then just G, D, Am, C for the chorus. All open.I don't have a copy of the song so I am going just based off of memory which is one of the reasons I am having so much trouble singing...that and i just suck at it. Thanks for all the input.
