I just bought a collection of about 500 drum loops and samples and here's what I did with it in the first hour of having them.

Enjoy!

I really liked that, but towards the end the most obviously. It's just too repetitive, but that's understandable, this obviously isn't anything finished.

When you record a final copy of this, a) definitely post it and b) i'd suggest coming in with the cello within the first two bars. it'd sound great.

You have a great mind for music. You can hear things and pull things out of a song like not many people I know. Thumbs up, man. :)

Hey thanks. Yeah, definitely not anything finished... I put it together with vocals in mind, so that's why the verses seem a bit repetitive. Maybe one day I'll wake up and be able to write lyrics. I doubt it, but when that day comes at least I'll have music to put the words to!

Sounds really good, Ben.... what else are you planning on doing with it? Any bass, guitar, vocals, etc?

well I've been trying really hard to write lyrics for it, then I can record more strings and maybe guitar on it.

problem is ben pezzner = not a writer. I'm scared that there is no way I'm going to get around that either.

summary: don't wait on the edge of your seat for the finished version of this.

Hey Ben, do you care if I attempt to add some lyrics?
I'm not sure if you want another sad-bastard song, but I like it.

Indeed... I went through a ridiculously bad breakup eight months ago and I'm still not over the girl. You'd think that would be enough. Oh well.

Hey Ben, can you give me some chords (or key) for this song, cuz I need to fill in the emptiness with some guitar?
