Oh, man! I wrote a song...

Man, I said, "God, give me a song to write and play" and within 24 hours this happened from start to finish. I play fingerstyle, but I've never written a thumbstyle song before. Hallelujah. O_o

Oh, of course I wrote it. XD I guess I'll just take that as a compliment. I just don't have any way to get a good recording, so I've been using MIDI for nearly 5 years now. :)

Anywho, critiques on the composition? I guess this isn't the best place to look (seeing as it's mostly singer/songwriter stuff around here) but I figure music is music so good musicians who know music can critique no matter what style. Anyone know of a fingerstyle/thumbstyle forum, though? I've got a ton of this stuff... Mostly unfinished so I'd really like to have some other fingerstyle writers to learn from. :) Have a spiffy day, all.

The song is nice.

I think the midi makes it sound like a video game... It reminds me of Sonic :)

well ill be honest i dont have much respect until you play it. a computer can compose a song just by picking a nice progression and throwing in on beat notes from their respective scales...

if you could play this on guitar... i would be in man love with you
