First original recording Critique pls

Here is my first shot at recording. Im playing the guitar and my friend is singing (who also wrote this song). I have to work out a couple of rusty parts in the solo i think, plus i think i may have to lower the levels of the solo. its called dare to dream. Let me know what you think

I like it, simple but nice.. the vocal could be turned up a bit. I think its the starts of a great song, your buddy has a nice voice. Thanks for posting..
