cool edit pro issue
so ive recorded my guitar track on cool edit, now im trying to record the vocals. is there anyway to have it play the guitar track in the background while i am recording my vocals? so i can hear what im singing too. im sure i did it once before recording in the multitrack view, but now whenever i try to do that a window pops up saying cooledit pro has encountered a problem and must close. annyy ideeas?

Not sure what your errors mean, but yes, you would use the multitrack view.
Right click in the top track and choose "insert wav".
Then on the track that your singing into just click the little red square box next to it.
When you go down bottom and click the record button you should be good to go. The music will play and you'll hear whatever your singing, too.
