Warehouse Cover

Unread post by mattinbeloit » Fri Mar 17, 2006 8:55 pm

I did a short warehouse cover today, I wanted to make it different somehow so I ended up tuning down half a step because it suited my voice better, let me know what you think.

Solid. You did a real good job on that both vocally and guitar wise. Nice work!

But why did you skip such an important part of the song? Where did the long buildup go leading up to, "...that's my blood down there...!!" I love that part of the song!

Also, I think you should sing with a little more of Dave's anger/energy/. Your voice is great for DMB songs....you should go after it more! I thought you sounded almost gentle with it. Don't get me wrong, you did a real good job on this. Hell, I can't even talk and play at the same time, never mind sing and play! But if you're looking for an honest assessment, that's just my 2 cents.

Add the full ending and sing with more gusto....it will sound killer.
