I don't really like it so slowed down. You struggle with some of the notes in your singing. Maybe because I'm so used to the strong piano and drums kicking in in the song, but it sounds kind of empty. This has great potential though.

I agree about the tempo thing, speed it up a little, not all the way up to the original, but its too slow now. I like the delay effect, are you using a dl-4? Singing is pretty good. I think you should throw in some backing vocals to fatten up the sound. I like how sparse the song is but it can't stay that way the whole time, especially for a 6 minute song. After the first verse, add a second guitar, maybe just straight mic'd acoustic playing rhythm in the back ground.
