ooo...nice. i definitely dig it. good job there bobby
the only thing i can say is that sometimes you hit the open B string and it didn't really 'flow' with the rest of the notes. that's it though really, it would be fun to come up with a harmony to go on top of it. you ought to play along with it and just doodle. see what you can come up with.

Glad you topped it; I missed it.
Nice to hear something from you. What kind of guitar are you playing for this recording? Sounds really nice. I like how this song goes in a number of directions. It's pretty epic, a characteristic most instrumentals should have. I'm sure you were expecting this comment simply because this is in drop-d, but parts of it reminded me of Bartender and DDTW. It definitely has its own feel, though, so don't be discouraged about that. I'd be very interested to hear some lead added over this solid rhythm track.

its just an Alvarez RD8, and i have a garageband cable i run into my comp, i played it yesterday jamming at my friends house on an OM-28 and it was amazing (i have to buy one of those). my friend messed around with some violin behind it yesterday on the keyboard, when i was playing it, i liked that, i might do something like that with it.. anyone feel free to throw some lead over it.
and the Bartender, DDTW i even think it sounds like that too. which i dont think is a bad thing really, i enjoy both of those songs, and its only at times, and because of the Drop-D like you mentioned. and the ending of the song, was something where i kind of screwed up and just went with something off the cuff, it turned out decent.

Ya i heard that bartender chord at the end
. Cool song but really long and a little repetative at times. Compact it some and make it into a really kick ass 4 minute song.
