praisedave wrote:ok so now i listened to some of the other songs... a few commentos for my brethren:

djvt81 - i believe you are dropping the last beat of the verse riff. listen to an acoustic version of the song to hear more clearly. otherwise very very cleanly played and good recording quality. VOCALS PLEASE!

tacs - im likin this man, but i wish there was more to the first half of it. i think you should have gone into the second part earlier then thrown in a second track, maybe guitar a little while in, but keep it bass based, i like it alot.

Jenns Bitch - I LOVE YOUR STUFF MAN. everything you post is pretty much gold. your devotion to quality recording is pretty sweet and makes it good for us listening. i pu just as much if not more time into my recordings, but mine sound like garage band shit compared to yours.

Pearce - good work man. i think this is one of daves tougher songs to play and you did pretty well. the vocals are pretty tough too, especially if you have no upper registry like myself. keep it up homes!

Didn't see this earlier. Thanks man! You really find the vocals hard on this song? It's one of the few that I don't sound terrible on.

well ihave ZERO ZERO ZERO upper registry. i mean nothing. i dunno why but for me this has always been one of the harder songs to play well, one of the harder songs to sing, and i can barely even attempt to do both at the same time. I was impressed.

edit: come to think of it i dont really have a lower registry either... or much of a voice.... BUT I TRY DAMNIT!

I've been very busy, and it doesn't help that a.) dmusic won't let me upload, and b.) YSI won't open on this computer for some godforsaken reason

anyone who can host the other 5 songs...post your email here, and I'll get the songs to you.

thanks for those who understand the situation...I don't just sit around on the computer all day.

no sweat here man, I know what its like to be busy. that is why I have been around for 2 years but my post count is only like 250. the world does actually keep spinning. anyway, I can't host but if there is anything i else can do to help let me know.

theres nothing wrong with being busy, but im not si sure you should offer to host a cover contest unless you have the time.
