sounds great. you have a great voice, it's almost operatic during parts of the song. I'm not a big Howie Day fan, but I love this.

Very nice, I especially liked how you sang the "even the best fall down sometimes" part. I have to go into a falsetto to hit that "down sometimes" part.
I also noticed you are playing it the way he plays it live: Capo on 3 with a D chord and a lot of hammer ons. Cool cool.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

Hey, thanks for the comments boys, keep 'em comin'.
Yeah, I'm not a big Howie Day fan either, I just happened to hear this song, and I downloaded an acoustic version, and I love it. So there ya have it.

you know this is the only howie day song ive heard and i still think yours is actually better, your voice isnt as scratchy as his. i mean most acoustic players look for the scratchy tone yours is just a pure tone. great man! good work

I've only heard the album version once, I first heard this song on the "Acoustic After Dark" program on the local 105.9 station, it was this exact acoustic version, and I'm a sucker for acoustic sh*t, so . . . you know how the story ends.
And my mp3s are on my friend Jess' iPod.

I liked it a lot. Enough has said about your voice, so I thought I'd compliment you on your guitar playing as well. Solid stuff.

Seriously. I mean, I really do appreciate it and all, but I don't see what the big deal is. If you enjoy my recorded voice THAT much (I
hate it), you should hear me sing live.

I'll have to do a song that is trickier on guitar next time.

I really don't like this song that much, but you do a real good job covering it. Hate to sound like a broken record but you have a real good voice.
I'll play it first and tell you what it is later.

I should probably sit back and accept that, seeing as it's what EVERYONE'S been telling me.

Listen man. I'm on the bandwagon now as well.. When I heard your first few songs you posted on here I was iffy. I am now however, deeply in love with you.. Bear my children..
