New song(with Banjo)

Unread post by juineaux » Sat Nov 26, 2005 5:54 pm

Here's a quick little recording I did yesterday morning. It's a new song of mine, with the banjo. There was only one mic, so my voice is louder than the banjo, and the High string on the banjo seemed to be louder than the other strings....but tell me what you think anyways-

I like it. It could use a little variation but it has a very catchy chorus. Great stuff as always.

You've got a very good voice. I agree on the Variation though as posted above.

Sure, here they are....they're kinda dark, ask me if you have any questions-

Marianna had her white dress on
And the wolves, how they lined the hills
A cold wind came in & blew her down
& the god of war swept down and opened his arms
& the god of war swept down and opened his arms

Is there blood in this wine
is there blood in this wine
is there blood in this wine

The fire started from a hole in the well
Young boy paul saw it all with his own little eyes,
With a 3 inch blade & a warm coat on his back
He ran beneath the dying tree, where the boy was hanged
He ran and he fell, & he fell on his blade
He fell on his blade & that's where he lay

Is there blood in this wine
is there blood in this wine
is there blood in this wine
