Has anyone used this? Is it worth looking into or am I better off using Garageband?

It depends on what you're wanting. If you want studio-quality no-frills editing software, then Soundtrack is great. If you want software instrumentation, loops, or anything of that sort, Soundtrack doesn't have it. If you want to upgrade, you might look at Logic Express instead of Soundtrack. (I own Final Cut Studio, so I have Soundtrack, but I personally use Garageband.)

Cool. I appreciate the feedback. Do you think Soundtrack sounds better than Garageband if I am only recording my own band without adding any Garageband prerecorded stuff? Have you had any experience with Logic Express? Thanks for any and all help!

So is it worth the price to go to Logic Express? I know that's a vague question. How much better does it make it sound than Garageband? Is it really really hard to use Logic Express?
