Open Mike Jam...
Here's a video of a jam we did at an open mike the other day. We played three songs and the owner of the joint asked us to come back in August and play a whole night..so I guess it went well, but I'd like some outside opinions as well. This source was a small digital camera so the sound quality isn't the greatest, and it cuts off about the last ten seconds of the song....but it's good enough for a watch
The file is thirty megs so if you are on dial up it probably isn't worth your time to check it out.

Wow, I'm not sure where to start or what to think. Overall....It took me in and sort of had me mesmerized. The guitar had a latin twist and with the congos and the bass....and then the violin.....which seemed like it was played in a very classical style...I don't know. If you told me about all being mixed together, I would have never thought that could sound good, but it absolutely did. I loved it. I don't know what else to say. I am normally a lyric guy and very rarely enjoy instrumental pieces, but that was nice. Great job. I'm gonna listen to it again, just to make sure I'm not crazy......or retarded as humblemonkey seems to think.

Thanks guys....yeah the video quality is shitty, but then again, it's a little digital camera, so all things considered I think it turned out well...we recorded the audio and shot the whole set with a videocamera, but I don't have that footage yet. I played the guitar in that...basically revolves around Am-E-Dm...I don't know what scale it is I'm playing...it's one I learned outside of class.
