new song: meaning *.MP3 INSIDE*

Unread post by superman0710 » Sun Jun 05, 2005 9:07 pm

1
I want to write
something that gets inside your head
and doesn't let go
makes its deep into your soul
a place you don't know
sends your mind out of control
afraid or alone
you'll never forget you won't let go

2
and when you hear this i hope
it makes you remember what your heart holds
you're feeling the choke
it makes you smile, makes you feel cold
the day is long gone
but the feeling lingers on
the words are in stone
the meaning is yours to own

chorus
and if i could get inside your head
i won't let go
and if you forget i hope this song
will guide you home
and if i could mean just some small thing
there's always hope
and if you forget i hope this song
will guide you home

and things are slowly fading out or taking shape
i think i'm ready for this thing but this thing is what's killing me
the minute mile my mind is running, i hate to feel so out of place,
i hate to be alone at night, i hate the silence in this place

and i am without meaning

i did a quick take of the song, vocals are off on some parts, it's quickly slapped together.
i overdubbed the electric as well.

wow, i wasnt too impressed with the lyrics but then i listened to the audio. wow, nice job man, really nice melody. great vocal and solid work. Theres a problem with volume tho, its not consistent. chorus is sooo loud and fade out randomly.

liked it, chorus was alittle rough in some spots i thought, but i like your voice pretty much throughout.
