Away:

It doesn't sound like the singer changes the singing much. It sounds like he is just siging the same exact way throughout the whole song. Tell him to change it up a little bit. Sounds like maybe he is just going through the motions. Overall melody of the song sounds cool. I think their maybe needs to be something a little bit more dynamic going on. It doesn't sound like of chord change, jams, etc.

Deliberate

Same thing with the singing here. He sounds kind of monotone. Not a whole lot of energy behind the singing. The melody is cool, kind of 60's or 70's ishvvibe to it.

Overall, I think you guys have potential. I think if your singer works on putting more emotion into the singing, changing the dynamics, changing the tone and pitch a little bit more. He has a good voice and has potential to get better.

As far as the rest of the band, a few more tempo changes and rhythm changes will definitely add to the songs.

The great thing is you guys just started playing together. Things will improve. Being around other musicians helps you grow and focus on improving. I am happy that you have this opportunity. You seem real excited about this band getting together. You guys have potential here, I think it just needs to be fine tuned. Keep working and we'll keep listening.

thanks, thats good advice. and everyone, keep in mind that there are no other band members right now. just me and him playing guitar and then recording him playing te bass lines over the music, then writing a drum beat on a computer for each song. So i think one thing that is holding back in the songs sounding complete is not having a full band to colaborate.

keep the advice coming, the meaner the better, bt thanks also for any honest compliments.
