My Stupid Mouth cover. (No Vocals Yet)

Unread post by Lennox » Thu Aug 07, 2003 8:44 pm

Here's my progress on John Mayer's, My Stupid Mouth song. I can sing it, however not quite accurate enough to record because I go out of tune at times when I'm concentrating on playing more then singing.

So anyways, here it is. Tell me what you think. Oh and I don't play the whole song on this either. Just the beginning section for now until I find tabs for the rest of the song.

Thanks

Sounds pretty good. Recording quality is so-so. Add a vocal track seperately.

Catherine has the best John Mayer tabs.. http://www3.sympatico.ca/g403z/

You have the chords.. I just think it needs some groove.. and of course the vocals carry it, so work on singing it too maybe.

It sounds kind of choppy at first... then it smooths out I think... It's good!

But it needs more cowbell...

"I think I'd being doing myself and this band a disservice if I didn't play THE HELL out of this cowbell!"
