Ok, there might have been threats about this but i could use some help anyway...so here is what im using

I have my Crafter guitar which goes into a Behringer Audio Interface (BCA2000) and then into my notebook.

On the notebook im using Cakewalk. My problem is, that when i jam, it sounds like its killing my speakers, so how can i get a cleaner sound, closer to CD qualit....

Whn i had my laptop a few years ago the souns card sucked which resulted in crappy outcomes. Might want to try upgrading your sound card or do what I did. Bought a new laptop.

If the recording volume is too high then it might sound distorted. If you have a preamp in your guitar then maybe try turning the volume down quite a bit. You can always boost it later.
