i like it.. .but you need to keep it flowing. a metronome might help. .. you just.. need to flow and keep the timing. otherwise i really really like it.

outside the fact that your rhythm is still kind of sketchy in parts, thought it was a pretty cool little piece. It's definately a pretty hard piece to write lyrics for, especially for me because if I don't write the music I never know where to go with the lyrics.

well to help make the lyrics easier to write, i used the same progression for the entire song. the chorus is strummed and the verse is just so pieced together riffs from the powerchord versions on Emin C7 (i think its c7... X23033) G D.

Hey Andy, I like it but its a bitch to get lyrics to stick. I wouldnt be able to get you a recorded copy anyway because I have a cold, but I'll keep workin on it.

the verse is probably hardest, try just playing a basic progression instead of the picking section. its just a slow emin c g d progression. then plug it in and see how it fits. thanks for workin on it elliot

Hey
Just wanted to say that is a kickass riff/tune I really like it... No matter for how long or how bad you keep the timing, it is really hard to write and record such a catchy tune in my ears...
Pure Dave quality material man... keep posting that kinda stuff

The rhythm isn't bad at all (although I haven't been really paying attention, since I'm reading as I go). I can get you some vocals just as soon as my mic gets flown out here from Nebraska.

the rhythm is the worst part. It's pretty catchy though and I didn't mind the harmonics.

I sing and write lyrics, yeah. We used to do Dave and acoustic Tool/A Perfect Circle covers for open mic back in high school. Our version of Judith kicked ass. I just moved to the east coast, though, so I'm waiting for a lot of my shit to get sent out here. We had a lot of hip-hop/folk/jazz influenced stuff going on, since my friend was a dj. Master scratcher, most def. Sometimes we'd delve into some Beastie Boys influenced rap.
