Grace Is Gone
I've been doing instrumental guitar pieces for a while, but I really would like to sing some songs at open mics and whatnot, so I figured I'd try my hand at... singing. More specifically, singing in a higher range. Dave sings pretty high, but my voice is pretty low (Eb3-C5 without going falsetto, with=Eb6 on a good day) so when I go to sing Dave's stuff without going falsetto it realy strains my voice but I'm trying to get better. I had to play this in A# instead of D still, though. O.o
I know I'm borderline horrible, but I want to at least be at a point where it isn't a distraction so the listener can just enjoy the song, 'cause why else do it in the first place if people won't enjoy it? Anyway... Just let me know if you think my voice is too bad to unleash on people. XD

In the beginning and the end I was fumbling around on my guitar a lot... Warming up, messing with recording settings, that kind of stuff. So you can just skip that junk. Any tips on singing besides "sing a lot" (I'm already planning to do that) would be appreciated as well! Thanks in advance. :)
Cheers,
Jer
