Unread post by gumbomadness » Mon Nov 29, 2004 6:10 pm

Just got a copy of this little ditty..
Im wondering tho..
Say for instance...
I recorded... LIOG.
Ok.
Done.
And THEN.. i want to record ONTO it.. me doing timmy shimmy fills and such..
how can i do that?
Like.. i know how to mix to files ontop of eachother.. but you cant rearrange it to change WHERE they mix and stuff.. like.. you cant drag the clips over eachother until its perfect like on programs like Acoustica....

Anyone know what i mean? Or how to help me..
or anything at all?
Ya.. i dont know jack shit-all help appreciated.

First, I'm going to guess you've got a hot copy of SF. My apologies if I'm incorrect, but SF's an expensive program to just buy with out looking into what you're getting.
Second, SF is more like a surgical tool for fine editing of audio, not a multitrack DAW.
A much better program for you would be calkewalk Home Studio for multitracking, mixing, and looping.

You can layer like you want in Acid Pro, and hear the song play back while you're playing another track.

I think there is a free demo version, but i don't know if it has the same features.. hit me up on AIM and i can get you a copy of the real one.
