ok, to everyone who was interested. i added the lyrics to the song

...and here it is ( please bear in mind that i still have to change the first verse main vocal to match the backup. )

http://www.rampromotions.com/suicidevocal.mp3

and if anyone wants the instrumental
http://www.rampromotions.com/suicide2.mp3

i have to redo the first verse ( too dissonant .... sounded better on headphones )

anyway....here are the lyrics

here i sit, almost sick
six years building has gone to shit
and i know, cause i see.
it's suicide if i don't leave

you play your games, these games with me
like i'm some toy that you need.
and i know what you need
but you'll never get it, won't get it from me.

take away all my pain
shove it down
and shove it down again ( cause i want you to feel )
cause i know what you need
but you'll never get it from me

there must be some mistake
for the heart you bear is surely a fake
and i know, i know what you'll need
but you'll never get it, won't get it from me

let me know what you like/hate/love/etc.

great to hear something from ya'...I love the guitar and melody on the first track...I like the way you go straight from bridge to verse...your voice sounds great...the quality is awesome...

ok...now for some constructive opinions...the vocal melody is sweet...the lyrics are a bit harsh, and seem typical of the new wave vocalists...I realize you wrote it from experience (I think), but it makes the song a tad depressing...also, cursing in a song never did it for me...at least when it is not integral to the recording...almost forced...anywho, my only negative opinion would be the lyrics...

it is a great song...nothing but kudos on it

hope to hear some more soon :)

does anyone find the vocal melodies to be too dissonant?

i've been told that maybe i should make the backup vocals into lead.....

any opinions on this, or do you think it sound fine the way it is?
( beside the first verse/chorus being too dissonant)
