My first recording

Unread post by You_Enjoy_Myself » Thu Nov 18, 2004 9:46 pm

My brother just bought a bunch of recording equipment, so today after work I recorded an originaly I've been playing around with. Like the topic says, this is the first recording I've posted in here, and I'd love to hear some feedback. Keep in mind, that I laid this down pretty quickly and didn't fuss too much about it, and I plan on redoing it sometime later.

you've got a great start to something here

i'd love to hear it with words or something because as it is with just the rhythm it gets kind of old...but if it had words or if you laid down a melody line over it i think this would be a very cool tune

thanks for the post and i'll be interested to hear where this goes
B+P by offer only...thank you

Thanks matty and joey.

Yeah, I know the rhythm kinda gets boring after a while, so I'm trying to write a melody line right now, it's slow going though, I cant' find anything that i like.

That is the best first post ever. Consider yourself a member.

Great tune ... i like the chord progression too .. great potential, and it definetley wouldnt sound nearly as repetitive with a lead line and some lyrics ... like the other said.

but damn good playing, solid!

I liked it quite a bit. Especially the Chorus or the second set of chords. Do you mind telling me what they are. Im looking to get more of a sound like that. Thanks.

It's in DADGAD, so I'm not too sure exactly what the chords are. There's the first little bit, I could work on tabbing the rest out later.

use allot of vibrato on the notes you stay on a around a second, use allot on the 12 note.

ok, i was bored, threw my gutiar into dadgad, and messed around a few mintues, came up with this, if you want it its yours for the melody part.
