i love the guitar part.

you got a bob dylan type thing going w/ the voice. you have a great voice, i just think you need to enunciate a lot of people don't like when a lot of words get shoved into a verse, but i do.

i was very impressed. great job. i'd like to hear it w/ the harmonies etc.

Your voice sounds a lot like Kelly Joe Phelp's. I don't know if you've ever heard his stuff, but if you haven't you should check it out. And as for the cover, I liked it, it was a little plain, but it was good.

its obviously well written and you have a great voice. extremely well done. that being said:

1) the guitar part sounds fragmented at times, mainly the intro
2) the words just turn to mush at the fast part.

You have some really interesting things going on with the rhythm. I really like how in the beginning you sing sort of in free time and then the lyric matches up with the beat for just a moment. Really nice effect. I would try and use this a bit more actually.

I know I've said it before but your voice kicks all ass. I'm not gonna say you should enunciate more because we can just read the liner notes. ;)

thanks MWR, Some people like it when I cram the vocals into one line creating a weird little rythym thing, others hate it.

I've tried to enunciate more since I joined dmbtabs, but no luck. So like you said, people can read the liner notes.

I think you pulled it off nicely.
"The General" by Dispatch is a good example of how not to do it. That song has a great chorus though.

Well, I'm considering putting this song on, but i dunno....

But the album is going great(this time around), all the basic tracking has been done and we are starting to add other instruments to a few tracks. I'm having a release party on Jan. 15th, but the actual CD should be done before the 15th, i will post some mp3's of it when I get it done.
