lol, alright man. It just sounded to me like a little kid was playing it, give it some emphasis. Be more aggressive and shit, it sounded like you were trying to play it bad for some reason. And pay attention to what you're doing in the song, the details.

well... i definetly wasnt trying to play it bad. i was trying to play it mechanically and robotesque because it was just the base that people were gonna add to. i wasnt trying to make it interesting, it was just supposed to be consistent and clean. I dunno what u mean by details, the jam is pretty basic.

you didnt like it either! damn. this blows monkey nuts. i hate this. double damn. I dont see how anyone can have a problem with it... i thought i played it to the tab exactly... i was on beat... sure i didnt throw anything creative into it... but it was just supposed to be the groundwork for the jam... it wasnt supposed to be anything special. :( i cant win... i saw nothing wrong with what i recorded (maybe a little trebly but thats not my guitar playing) there were plenty of things to tear me on with like my gravedigger covers and i expected that. but this, DAMN i fuckin give up... thats about as good as i can do guys. damn. :x i shall retire to the gear forum lest i feel the need to post any originals. damn

first few measure was the intro/verse. If you think you were on beat, you must note even know what a beat is. How can you listen to what Dave is playing , then hear what you play and think that is even represents it? Seriously, I need to know why you posted such a off-beat, ever-chaning time signature guitar part and expect people to be able to use that for a decent solo?

yeah man, that's what i was saying. It's so erratic. Try tapping your foot maybe or something. I can't even play that off-beat if I tried to I think. It would be harder to play off-beat.

Wow, you two are dickheads. He was trying to do something fun and nice. Regardless of how it sounded, he shouldn't be flamed for it. Not everyone is Dave Matthews or Jimi Hendrix, you know.

While you two are on the topic of making rude suggestions to people, i'll add my own input. Why don't you both learn a thing or two about constructive criticism and/or mature a little.

i can change the speed of what i played (chances are i didnt play it the EXACT same speed as dave) and put it over a recording of daves wwus and it will match up near perfecty. i will do so when i get home and it will be up by the end of the night. that'l lern you good!

Hell yeah man, Jimi Hendrix. By the way, are you actually listening to yourself when you play? There's no possible way in hell that is on beat at all. So just stop trying to convince people that you played it well.

How about everyone just disregards ungratefulDMB. I'm sure you suck, so stop talking shit. You sound like a 12 year old, and i'm sure that's a close guesstimate.

Praisedave, just tell him to fuck off man. No need to try to prove yourself.
