Do you like them? Do they do anything for you at all? Are you happy you bought them? What kind are they? How much did they cost?
Also, do you just plug them into a 1/4" jack in your soundcard?
Thanks.

Oh yeah, and what's the difference between "powered" and "bi-amplified?"
I've read articles where the writer bashes one or the other like one is bad and one is good.
Thanks again.

Don't own a pair yet. For simple mixing a good pair of closed back headphones works well. If your doing more complex mixing with alot of tracks than some near-field monitors are a must.
I don't know a whole lot about them to be honest.

I have studio monitors. Some Yorkville YSM1's. Studio monitors are an excellent buy if you're actually doing a lot of recording, especially professionally. If you get a good pair of neutral monitors, they can make all the difference in the world, but like was said above, for private and personal recordings, a good pair of headphones is all you need.

I use them all the time but they arent mine. I have almost no knowledge of that kind of equipment except how to use it.

Can you elaborate on the studios? What kind? What's your set up? Do you find them a valuable asset to what you do?
Thanks.
