Ok...I am happy with the sound and mixing I ogt here...be leniant when it comes to the 2 vocal misses newr the end...they hurt, but I had fun, and I think the rest at least partly salvages it...the Tim parts were all improved (of course ;))...

tell me what you think guys 8)

I thought it sounded pretty good. Yea those high spots are always going to be a hassle. Other then that, I really don't see any issues.

really good :!:...do you sing and play at the same time when you record this?

I listened to the long black veil cover also (http://www.cadenzaspell.com/Longblackveil.mp3). I guess you did that too? :?: Damn BEST thing I've heard...I love the slides near the end. In the intro it sounds like you're fingerpicking sometimes. are you?

anyway...great guitar and great voice on both covers. keep 'em coming :D

Great job....I don't know what you mean by the problems with the high notes, I think you hit them well. A couple things I would suggest. The tremelo picking in the solo part doesnt fit this song IMO. It's too soft for that type of soloing. I think all the rest of the solos are great, though. As I said, I think your voice was just fine. Good job

thanks guys...the rough spots were the octave jumps after the yelling...I missed like two of them (well it just took me another millasecond to get up there - which hurts the ears)...yeah, LBV is mine...the soloing was my own inspired improv...all of the stuff on my site is my stuff...if you like the slide, then check out the middle breakdown in my Crush cover...that was fun =) ...I recorded #41 in one take for the guitar/vocals, then another track for the Tim stuff...improv as usual...but thanks guys...

anyone else? :)

Thats some sweet stuff right there fire

Your vocals seems so improved lately .... Been taking voice lessons or just sing as much as possible ?

2:35 i think that breakout sounded great :)

2:47 It sounds like you had a little trouble with those high pitches ?

Besides that i think everything simply were amazing

Keep them coming fire :)

no lessons man...not singing anymore than I normaly do either...not sure why they would be better :? ...yeah...like I said, I missed those octave jumps...I can usually get them fine, but after I barked out that yell, my voice was a little behind me...thanks for the response 8)

Hey Fire...

Great stuff...your vocals do sound better, I like the little variations.
As for the octave jumps...I wouldn't worry about it, #41 is hard to sing!
Maybe just try warm up a bit more before you sing it :D
..the improve licks are awesome as usual..

Great cover

You never answered Jay's question. "How long have you been playing?"
