Unread post by Buck23 » Wed Sep 15, 2004 1:26 am

Hey,

am I getting any better at this singing thing?

(not trying to compete with Ben's cover, cause I cant...a friend had a bad day and this is a good peppy cheer up song I think, since I don't know BOWA)

any crituques welcome. you can even tell me I suck.

I'm not certain about this, but I think your singing is flat... in other words, if your guitar were tuned down (not sure how much)... the key would be right on. Thats the feel I get.

Other than that, the vocals are cool... sounds decent.

I think parts of it fall flat, I sing the "upon this watered one" part in key, but then fall flat for the "so much we take for granted," I noticed it in other parts of the song as well...went back and fixed that one, I'll try and get a new recording up

thanks,

i think it would also be a good idea to invest in a mertronome, your tempo is jumping all over the place. And add those mutes strums at the end of the main riff.
