i meant do it while listening to the first run in headphones. thats what i do and it seems to werk, ur ways are better but they cost more for us poories. I wish i could afford a mixer and 2 mics, that'd be sweeet...Carl_SWE wrote:praisedave wrote:it is a nice sound, just i think the guitar could be louder, i thought u did it simoultaneously, (which i am impressed by btw) if you played and sung it twice just moving the mic more towards the guitar the second time u could get a more even sound, i thought it was just a quiet clip during the intro and i cranked it, when the vocalls came in it was more than a bit loud kinda like "wonderwall" if you've heard it![]()
Not a solution, the timing will be a bitch to get right.
There are other ways;
1# Sing the song, then playback your singing through a pair of headphones and play the guitarpart. Then mix them together in a program.
2# Do like 1# but guitar first and then sing to it.
3# Get a mixer and two microphones, preferably a real pickup system for the guitar and a regular mic (dynamic and condensator are great, I can hardly hear any difference btw) and then play the song but with both mics recording so you can adjust treble bass etc, seperatly.
4# Find the frequency of the guitar and raise it, works in just about any recording/editing programs.
I suggest number 3.
