After listening to it a couple times... the thing that jumps out at me is that I don't feel like the guitar playing is meshing with what you are singing. The style of the two don't compliment each other very well. I think this is because it could be that what you are playing and what you are singing are actually in two different time signatures.

To elaborate more, Once you are done with a verse, the music doesn't seem to reflect that. It just keeps going on without a clear change. I think having those changes in what you are playing helps with bringing the song together.

I'm not sure if what I'm saying is accurate or not. I'm mostly just trying to write down what I'm thinking and it's kind of difficult.

I agree with you that the Vocals dont really match the song perfectly, but im pretty happy with the guitar part. Im trying to get away from the standard verse chorus stuff in some amount. Im trying to make it sound kinda flowing from one part to another.

look out, juineaux, you try something different and they'll all start telling you you have no clue how to write a song and that you have no clue what a good hook is and that you suck so bad you can't even manage a decent verse chorus verse chorus bridge chorus form. it's fun stuff to hear, especially when you know the people saying it have no clue what they're talking about :)
