My Gravedigger Cover
Now please don't ridicule me off the boards, but I'm curious to what you think. I know my singing sucks. I hate my voice, but I have fun singing, so I do it anyway. Plus my girlfriend doesn't think I sound as bad as I know.
Keep in mind this was recorded in one take, one track into a microphone with a crappy guitar (and crappy voice).
I guess I don't know why I'm doing this, but I am. So here it is.

Are you serious??!?!?!?! That really makes me feel good. Ya know, everybody sounds different in their head than they do on a recording, so even if in my head it sounds alright. So I really didn't know what to expect.cquick wrote:That was pretty good dude. You sound like Bob Dylan/Neil Young which is pretty damn cool.

Let's hear more.
You should learn Hurricane and compare your version to Dylan's and you'd be able to hear it. I wish i could have that nasal sound when i sing but when i try it, it just sounds like someones stepping on my nuts. I don't have any suggestions other than when you go into your chorus at the begining Gravedigger....... you should belt that out and get a little louder than when you sing your verse. Don't be hesitant you gotta cool voice.

Once I get a mic it will all be fixed. It's just that I have one mic attempted to be pointed at my mouth and my guitar. The mic is on the desk and I play better standing. Like I said, one take.....I could probably tweak it a bit. too lazy....cquick wrote:You should learn Hurricane and compare your version to Dylan's and you'd be able to hear it.
