I never really sang in the beginning. By the time I started to sing while paying, it was never a problem because I had spent so much time playing. So there was never really one song, I just started singing to all of them. Now, singing and playing isn't a problem for me.

I'm pretty sure it was the cover of NIN's "Hurt" by Johnny Cash. Gravedigger and Crash Into Me were among the first, too.

we all are at the start, unless of course, good singers :P I just start signing with songs, like no guitar or anything, you get use to hearing your voice and you'll be less embarrased

ya its funny cause i tried once while ago playing as one trazck and then recording another track of singing over the top and i thought my voice was just bad.

Don't trust recordings unless they are high quality. Listen to yourself through a mic so you know what other people are hearing.

yeah, this gal im friends with sings incredibly beautifully, when she sings she says she dislikes to hear herself. so she always turns to me to see if she's doing a good job <thumbs up>
