i didnt read all the replies here, cause they seemed to have nothing to do with the song, but i just wanted to say that i think stay is probably the hardest song to play and sing along to...
I can't believe that we would lie in our graves wondering if we had spent our living days well, and I can't believe that we would lie in our graves dreaming of things that we might have been...

dang, jason, do you have any friends? fire goes out of his way and spends his time on your little cover and says the guitars are great and the vocals need work, and you blow up on him. way to be an asshole. you need to relax and take whatever it is that you have shoved up your butt. fire was in no way insulting or derrogatory in his first post. he took his time to listen to your recording, just like you want people to. what the hell do you expect from people??

.tico, I really dont want to start shit with you...and you dont have all the data, so I would stay out of this....because I still want to keep it cool...and I would hope that you would take the time to listen to my songs and critique them as I think it will help me.........but I really don't want a little spoiled brat like fire, with his mommy buying him thousands of dollars of guitars and toys for his computer, telling me that I "need work"....well yea, thanks a lot......I guess I will just wonder about what I was doing wrong......however, the other guys that replied gave reasons, that can help me...I dont want some critique saying that I "need work"...

DmbFanJason wrote:hey guys...thanks for the replies...so about this range thing...what parts are you talking about exactly...like about the last part with the really high "stay"s??? they were a little quiet I have to admit, but I know that once I get this breathing thing down like Tico talked about it, it will sound better...anyway, let me know...late.
I'm not saying that you sounded off, I really enjoyed it actually..... I'm just saying that personally I found it alot easier to develop my voice after i realised that I should be singing in my own voice, not dave's..just trying to help man. :D

ok, jason, let's keep this cool. i understand what you're saying, but it's no reason to go off like that on fire. you can simply say, "hey, what was wrong with the voice?" instead of insulting him.

well Jason, "your vocals need work"...it speaks for itself...I never said I am better - frankly I don't need to prove it to you because I see you opinion as worthless - but thats beside the point...your vocals on this song need some work...and you even said so yourself - but instead of taking it and weening what you can from it, you take immediate defense...do what you will and I won't bother anymore, but I will say this -

everything that I have from guitars, to pedals, to any other equipment I have paid for in full, so don't go off with your limited inteligence, you might get yourself hurt like that  - lates!
