I think I figured minarets out perfect...if so, the tab on the site is off...but anyway, listen to it and tell me what yall think......I think with a little more practice, it will be "dave-like", but anyway, let me know.....

I'd love to see a tab too. I could never get the tab on this site to sound quite right. Just assumed it was my lack of ability. (might be anyway).

after listening to luther college i think i can hear some differences...i cant play the song yet, but that's just my opinion after listening to both of them

try listening to some of the older versions, where you can hear daves guitar better....luther college's is filled with a lot of timmy fills and dave does more strumming rather than muting(as in other versions)...trust me, it's what it is dude...

the tab on the site is by no means off, kanter always gets his tabs from videos.....

play it the way it is on the site, and then listen to Dave's/or mine....and you'll see a difference...Tabbing from a video doesnt mean anything, there has been quite a few of "tabs from videos" that were obviously off....but hey, thanks for listening...

hey jason, when you ask for people's opinion, you don't tell them they're wrong after they give it to you. if you are so sure of yourself then why do you post so many covers asking what people think of them? if you don't want people to disagree with you, don't ask for opinions.

billy listened to your stuff and L@LC and did exactly what you asked him to: he told you what he thought. then you come out and say no you're wrong, end of story.

well tico...they were just saying that I was wrong too, and they didnt give any reason either.....

no...what i am saying is that there isn't any reason to give a full explanation, because you always come up with a counter attack to defend yourself..so it is pointless

its pointless? yea...well, I took trippinhillbilly's/ticos/adamcu's/sleeptodreamher's comments and I tried to learn from them, because I respect them.....it's just that your critiques are so bla and dont really do anything...your critiques dont make any sense and are based on how YOU play,which IMO isnt a good source...like I said, I really dont think you know what you are talking about...
