sounds good overall. Guitar is right on. It sounds like you might be tense when you sing though. If you record vocals and guitar as seperate tracks, you might want to try bouncing up and down on the balls of your feet while your singing. That's what I do to get rid of the tension. If you're more relaxed, you'll be able to hit the higher notes better. But this is a very picky comment. Sounded good to me.

yea....I was holding a little back because I had to focus on not fucking up the guitar part...i dont want to do them seperately because I want to practice them at the same time as much as I can...thats the way to do it IMO...LOL, I found at the end of the song I was moving my feet, I guess you kinda just have to move your feet while playing DMB because it just makes you wanna dance...ESPECIALLY Stay....when I get the guitar part down I'll be able to let it all out....I will also be practicing on the breathing too, so we'll see how that goes....thanks though...all other comments are Velcome...late

comment "V"elcome eh? hehe...sounds just like the cd (guitar)...the vocals...need work...it will come in time...

I thought you could play them all Jason :P

I never really liked the song so I decided to never learn it...I would like to do the D&T style 6/8 time prog. to it...

thanks for the comment that the vocals just "need work"...that helps a lot...at least I tried to help you in yours...but I guess being in tune is just a natural talent, that you lack...

I was hoping to not get a critique from you, so I hope you don't listen to my shit anymore...lates.

jason, I thought it was very good......but don't get pissed at fire for saying exactly what you said.......you said in yourself that you were holding back......Fire basically said the same thing you did.......Relax man.....you beg for critiques ( yes, i've been known to do this too ) so don't get pissed when they give you feed back you don't want to hear.

Hey Jason..

I really enjoyed that....the guitar was right on as per usual and I was even impressed by the vocals.. I could definately hear the improvements, sounds like you've been practising. Keep it up man!

It did sound like you were trying to sing in a higher vocal range then you're comfortable with, like the same range as dave??
I could be wrong...
Everyone has their own range so maybe you should just try sing in whatever range feels comfortable to you.. then once your voice develops you'll have a larger range and it'll make it alot easier.... did that make sense?

All together though I was really impressed!
good stuff man :D

hey guys...thanks for the replies...so about this range thing...what parts are you talking about exactly...like about the last part with the really high "stay"s??? they were a little quiet I have to admit, but I know that once I get this breathing thing down like Tico talked about it, it will sound better...anyway, let me know...late.
