Well, though its not the best I can do, I dont feel like playing all the way through this five minute song just to get it perfect. I know there is a lot of room for improvement, but for nine months of playing guitar (had to slip in the chickenshit disclaimer  ) I think it's alright. Let me know what you guys think.

edit: if you download, Pleeeeease take the time to make a comment, even if it's just "nice," or, "wow, you suck." I wont get offended. Seriously.

the guitar is overshadowing the vocals a little too much...the rythm is good, a couple few mess ups, the 31x3xx chord i think you are hitting to violently...vocals are i would say about a 6.5 out of 10...overall, i would give the cover a 7

Alright, sounds really really good to me...especially when you get really into it...jack the vocals up around equal to the guitar - that is probabaly the biggest mistake I make - is singing too low...another pointer is you need to do the double-strum on the bridge to get the really choppy ending...other than that, I loved it...good rhytmn too...kudos :)

yeah thanks guys...I appreciate the feedback. I know the levels were screwed up, but it was a one track deal...I didnt put the vocs separate from the guitar so its just kind of a shitty job placing the mic. And as for the double strum at the end, I know. I was gonna do it but my hand was starting to kill me and I knew I'd screw it up. Next time. :)

And keep the feedback coming people...dont be afraid to get specific either. I need the help, and I'll get better faster if you guys point out specifics - Thanks!

NINE MONTHS???? What?????

You can play the stone like that after nine months of playing??
CHEESE!! DAMMIT!!
Yeah man, thats impressive!

As for the vocals, you were in tune for the most part which is kinda hard with stone especially... It definately seemed like you were holding back though which is probably cause of lack of confidence.
Just let it rip man...but warm up first obviously.. la la la la .....ee ee ee ee.....oh oh oh oh .... ah ah ah ah... ey ey ey ey....know what i mean? :D
Overall i was really impressed man!

NINE MONTHS!!!

:D

Sounds really good, rythm, timing. Vocals will come with practice, like the one guys said, Let her rip . Keep up the good work!
I was just wondering if you'd come along

Guitar sounded great for only 9 months of playing. I've been playing about that long and I'm not that good. Vocals were a little weak and out of tune at times, but I'm sure they'll get better. Dude, how much do you practice?

I can only say what's been previously stated. The guitar is great for being 9 months. Vocals are all about confidence, man. If you hold back, you'll go flat or mess up. Nice job though. :)
