One of the Best 41 Covers Ever :-P

Unread post by JefeMono » Sun May 23, 2004 7:54 pm

This took like half an hour to do, but it sounds pretty nice. This is a cover of #41 with me (guitar solos/violin) and JazzKid41 (Justin) on rhythm and vocals. Feed back is appreciated:

That's good dude. Vocals are decent as well. Guitar playing is excellent. You might want to watch some of the words, you really accentuate them, meh.

I liked it though.. I like the "da da da da da" part. I didn't like the guitar solo at the end.

This is a song I love to play and mess around with. You guys did an awesome job. It's always nice to have a violinist backing you up... I wish I had one. In fact, can I borrow him hahaha, seriously...?...?maybe?

Anyway, the guitar was solid. I wish the soloing was a little more interesting. I'm listening right now actually. I like that muting in the rhythm, that's something I always love to add. I was much more satisfied with the vocals this time around... lots of improvements, you guys are a double threat, keep posting...

The vocals are a little breathy more my taste....you kind of have that Mayer thing going on. Try singing more from deep in chest and get more air moving. Everything else rocks.

great job guys! violin was awesome - nice and mellow.

the speed was a little fast for me but i got used to it by the end. it would be nice to hear a slowed down version of it so that the rhythm guitar and vocals would match the mellowness of the violin more...if that makes any sense.

overall, one of the best if not the best 41 cover i've heard here.
