Ben Harper Cover
first thoughts...
really liked your voice. I liked that you stayed in your range and only occasionally went for that high falsetto...i can't stand it when ppl overdo falsetto but yours fit well into the song.
solid guitar...i mean it aint tough but still it sounded good
only critique would be that sometimes you seemed to come in a little late with the words and therefore had to rush the line...mainly inthe last verse
overall good job though. its always hard to sing harper songs, at least for me, and ithough u nailed it pretty well.

Good job. I always liked this song and have covered it before... in fact, I was planning on making a recording and posting it on here soon!
I like how you hit the highs... like 'Lift' at 1:09... that was very nice. My only point of constuctive feedback is that the song in general could be a little 'smoother'... for example, at 2:34 the word 'angel' cuts off rather quick... I think some words could be held longer/timed a little better... to give the song a smoother feel.

Along with the majority of the people here, I loved it. I really enjoyed listening to it. The voice was excellent. I wish I could sing.
Oh yeah, and you got the stamp of approval from my grandma.
I was listening to it in my basement, and my grandma was upstairs. When I went upstairs, she said that she really liked the music I was playing before.
Good job, keep it up.
