you're right, it does sound very bluegrassy, but that's not necesarily a bad thing. i think it sounds amazing and it's clear that you have a LOT of talent, you are quite the fucking magician, errr musician. the track reminds me a lot of bela fleck or even string cheese incident. real good stuff man, i've always enjoyed listening to your stuff.

Yea mandolins are alot of fun, But guitar is still by far the best. You can do so much with a guitar. I was thinking about buying a violin and trying to learn it, but I heard they are really hard to learn. Mabey I should buy an electric guitar first or pay off my car insurance.
I have a serious problem of spending money i dont have-

Hey do you guys like this type of stuff or not?
Im kinda torn between making this kinda folky music(more instrumental) and music that is more like a John mayer/jack johnson type of sound. I like playing and listening to both types, but I dont know if an audience would like the weird little variety-

i think you could really get big, but you need your voice. i can't think of any very popular instrumental bands. you're voice is great, and only adds to the music. it really depends on what you wanna do though.

Thanks guys, im still no sure what im going to do. Im going to start praticing with a drummer/percussionist, and a bass player to help liven up my sound, because im going to do a big show in my town with alot of my friends who are in "typical" sounding rock bands, so Im going to try to give my songs just a bit more energy than ussual.
