Here's an old original..Recording quality sucks, sorry...As for the song, its one of my first songs ever written and the first song I ever recorded way back when...I don't expect to get rave reviews, but I thought I'd throw it up anyways just for kicks...

INTERNAL SCARS

When life’s got me down
there’s not a soul around
that could try and reduce the pain
depression hits just like a train

running off the track
want to try and bring it back
passed the point of no return
left with scars from all the burns

will this ever be over
or will I give up and die
internal scars bleed from inside
the pain causes me to cry
the rains fall down from the sky

I try to fight this on my own
my enemy’s unknown
at a loss for what to do
praying I’ll make it through

just to find a shred of light
to guide me through this night
to help my mind construe
the correct path to make it through

will this ever be over

the chords/rhythm sounded a little like grave digger.
By the bye, i think it's liquor up front, poker in the rear....I'm not sure you want to be back there with liquor....if you know what i mean.

i didn't even notice...I wrote that one way back when....but thanks for the reply...and i dont know what you mean, im just talking about a card game in the front, and they serve liquor in the back jk
