I understand you want to jazz up the speed, but I think you really need to keep that intro closer to the original which is what totally sets the tone. I think you've gotta hear those seperate notes especially on d-0 g-2 and e-2 where the pull off is.
e---0h2-------2p0-------0--2--3--2----------2--2--2p0-------0--2--3---

g---2-------2-----------0----------------0------------------0---------
d---0-----0-------------x-----------------------------------2---------

e---2p0----------------------------------------------------------------
b---1-----3------------0----------2-----------3----------0-----2---3---

d---0------------0-----0------0---2-------2---4--------0----0--2---4---

Also I'm sure the song is a newer attempt for you, but I noticed some parts where you either skipped strings or you hit extra notes which kind of threw off your rhythm a bit.
On the right track, but imo in this case a song like comfortable serves as a nice guitar piece so straying TOO much from the original content could be a mistake. We'll have to see how you make it work with the lyrics in addition to the tempo change though.

Jc, i know what your talking about...In the "inside wants out" cd, he really emphasizes on singular notes...its more of a finger picked version...On the "any given thursday" dvd, he strums more of it..that was of what i was going for here...I dont disagree with what your saying though, i do need to slow it down some
