Jason Isbell cover - Grown

Unread post by ut4ever8 » Fri Jul 01, 2011 7:41 pm

I stopped recording when I graduated and had to get a grown up job but I want to get back into it again. So I posted a couple of videos on Youtube. My vocals have always been and still are my biggest downfall. I'm trying to work on getting rid of the hesitancy in my voice and just belt it out but I haven't quite shaken it. I tried to pick a song that was a little louder and demanded that kind of singing. It will always be a work in progress but I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Guitar sounded great. Vocals were a little shaky, like you said, but really only when it seemed like you were overextending notes. Overall, nice job dude

I've never been able to sing any Isbell songs. The guy has a wide range
