Hello fellow friends. Below is a posting of Dave Matthews’ “The Stone,” covered by myself. I did not post this to impress anyone, but rather to get input. I know it is pretty bad, but I would like some help. Not so much on my guitar playing, or my lack of rhythmic skills, but more on my singing. I don’t really know how to sing, I don’t know if I’m heading in the right direction, or not...I’m lost. Sorry for the low quality of the recording, but I only have a 10 dollar mic and the bundled sound recorder software to work with. So I’ll stop blabbing, and just get the embarrassment over with, here it is. Oh yeah, and I kinda bounce around on the lyrics, and do not do the complete song. But anyhow, thank you for any input that you give me, and please, help me. I need it!

not bad man, from the way you described it i thought it was gonna be much worse... guitar is solid- a few mistakes in the beginning but you find your rhythm... Voice is better than mine, lol- you sound like youre holding back a little bit though, like you want to keep it a little quieter than you can- i know loud lyrics arent really necessary in this one but if you let your voice come out a little bit more i think it will sound a lot better. one more thing, 14 Mb is HUGE for a 1 min file, people that dont have broadband probably wont check out things that huge.. download mkwACT or something and convert those .wav's to mp3 before you upload... youll save on bandwidth too
