You should strumg at the same speed as the song goes :)

Muting can be a hard thing sometimes , it takes a little practice to mute properly ....

Try sitting with the guitar in a quiet room and play the song very slow , then speed up , the way JKanter has the tab on this site can give you a really good idea on how its done since you only use one finger at a time to fret the notes :)

Try that out and let us know how it goes , if that didn't work , we'll try helping you out in a better way :)

Good luck
-Ole

go slow. slow waaaay down. get the notes right. get that pattern in your mind. you should be able to mute all the strings with your index finger, and hit whateer notes you need with the rest. except the first note which is of course hit by the index finger. and like dusty said...

that video is a good thing. i know how you're feeling man. you don't know how long it took me to get this song down. the only reason i finally got it is cause i played it so much (i was able to do it cause its one of my all time favorites)

And the all time given of pointers, PRACTICE, PRACTICE PRACTICE!

Make sure your hands aren't cold , they cramp up fast that way , also b4 you start playing you should consider some kind of excersise to warmup the fingers a little bit , personally i stretch out my fingers , then fist the hand , then stretch .... Do that for a couple minutes that should give you some good stretching .... Also keep in mind its still a big stretch to do Warehouse for some people , just like #41 and so on , what it takes is alot of practice to get used to those hard stretches , after you played those songs for a while , the stretching ain't that bad , it will only get better in time :)

Slow down as it was said before and keep your right hand going up and down all through the riff. Once you get that right you can gradually speed it up. That's how I got it.
